keys to putting fitness first are excitement, enjoyment, and daily
challenge.
In this era of instant gratification, it is easy to knock fitness
down to the bottom of our to do lists. This is a critical mistake
and we do eventually pay for this choice. The keys to putting fitness
first are discussed below, along with the reality behind gaining
and staying physically and mentally fit.
Physical
exercises of cardio and muscular workouts absolutely help the body
to become strong. All parts of your body need to function
as a whole. Therefore, the absence of one factor can cause the demise
of your entire fitness program. Take for instance that you focus
only on maintaining your weight and meeting your cardiovascular
needs. You are forgetting that your body is not only composed of
your heart. All of your other organs and muscles need to be functioning
at peak levels as well. Body fitness is not only achieving a beautiful
figure, but replenishing what was depleted from the body due to
regular or extraordinary daily activities. Physical exercises
should benefit your entire body, mind and spirit. Decide
today on a daily physical routine that is sustainable for you! and
make this a priority number one in your life. This may seem small,
and this may seem simple, however, this is the absolute key to making
a lasting difference in your weight loss and overall fitness level.
The
benefits you experience from being fit are physical and mental.
Clarity of mind, side by side with a healthy and strong body can
take you far in life. Embracing positive habits, dietary
changes, and physical exercise will better enable you to handle
and deal with the everyday stresses presented by life.
Each of us knows this is true... however, we do
not always nurture our bodies with proper nutrition to function
well and stay healthy. The important minerals, vitamins, and foods
that must be provided to achieve overall fitness are not always
an easy choice to make. Especially when we feel alone or depressed,
the quality of our choices can really suffer. Also, keep in mind
that good spiritual, mental, and physical health is the absolute
meaning of true fitness.

process of losing weight and achieving fitness, however, is not
simply a one day task. It is not quickly and easily solved
by simply going to a gym or taking a 30 minute walk in a park.
There
are several factors that weight heavily on our results, when talking
about body fitness. Daily nutritional necessities as well
as body conditioning (cardio and muscular workouts) are needed.
The daily choices we make regarding these matters are what have
the power to change the course of our lives and our waist lines.
It is these choices which need to be put first in our minds and
hearts, the small choices which are actually the battles that win
the war.
Your available resources must be used wisely...
else you will find yourself out of time and in a place you never
want to even think about. Realize that your body has needs, just
as you would feel emotionally overjoyed by your thin and trim waistline,
your body would feel 100 percent better with that new weight loss
also. This is a team effort, and you must supply the will power
and creativity to stay on track!
You
must break free of the years of body abuse from bad habits, poor
nutrition, and lack of physical exercises. Break free,
get mad, and make each small change, as though your life depends
on it... because it really does!
Your
physical body works better than any machine yet invented. It's more
powerful, amazing, and complex, thus it can take more abuse while
continuously operating without meeting its everyday requirements
for a few days. However, this is not a permit to go on those crash
diets. You may lose 10 pounds in a weekend, but if you gain it back
during the week, it is not a lasting change. Know what works for
you and what does not work for you.... this is powerful knowledge,
as we are all different. One thing is true for us all, and
that is that if we burn more calories than we consume... we will
lose weight.
There's always the easy way and the right way when
it comes to weight loss. It doesn't take a genius to see yourself
as someone quite unique, we are clearly not all equally the same
in everything that we do. Variety brings very interesting and exciting
questions and potential solutions to be experimented with. Take
this concept and apply it to your everyday life. For example, at
least once a week you should decide to do something a little different
for your diet or exercise. Something that brings excitement and
the element of the unknown can make the weight loss process an exploration,
instead of a drudgery.
Let
this new and exciting tactic be the first thing on your mind as
you get out of bed each day this week. And, once it arrives, once
it catches your attention and you know what it is, be sure to schedule
it into your week. The key to putting fitness first is in
your ability to make it enjoyable and exciting, always
a little different. So, take this challenge and make a difference
in your weight loss plan today!
